Tyler’s introduction into the world of fantasy began in grade school when he first saw the Sorcerer’s Stone in theaters. Harry Potter quickly became a family event, and Tyler spent many nights at Border’s celebrating the midnight release of the books, and many days in line for the movie premieres.
The next time he would read something so enticing was in middle school when Percy Jackson introduced him to the vast world of Greek Mythology and, by extension, the power legends can hold. Since that time, he has discovered many books including The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica and The Kingkiller that provide a metatextual commentary on tropes and the power of a good story. He looks forward to adding his voice to these conversations.
